                         Connecting Through Study

Do you feel you know the Bible stories well enough, but don’t understand much about how God works? Have your children or grandchildren asked you spiritual and moral questions for which you sought answers from the Bible, but weren’t clear how to access them? Have you been attending church regularly and contributing financially, but now find yourself yearning for something more? Are you a new Christian who seeks a sense of direction leading to a greater understanding of your faith? Or do you simply have a deep spiritual hunger that is crying to be filled? When you find yourself in any of these situations, or others unique to your own lives, then perhaps one of the Bible Studies Christ Church offers in its cafeteria of choices is the answer for you.  These classes range from short terms of four-six weeks to long term commitments of up to 34 weeks. They take place during the week and on weekends. There is something for you at any stage of your faith journey within whatever time you have available.

Those people who have undertaken Bible Study have found it most rewarding.  Many will continue study with another course this year. These folks rejoice in a greater understanding of God’s love as revealed in the Bible. They value the fellowship and bonding that results from in-depth study with a group of fellow searchers. They find peace, growth and satisfaction that they hadn’t experienced earlier. They discover the Bible is a more amazing book than they had realized.  And they celebrate that these studies inspired them to a greater commitment in service as Jesus has called us to do.

We invite you to look over the complete list of available classes this fall, consider the choices that fit your needs, and take the plunge to grow in faith and action by signing up for one of them. After study, prayer and reflection over many weeks you may be able to say, as many former participants have, that it was the best thing you ever did.
