Christ Church Annual Habitat for Humanity Build

--->Shortcuts:     Contacts     2010 Build Location     Meal Guidelines     2010 Build Schedule

Thanks to everyone for building, preparing meals, donating, and praying for this mission!

Team Leader: Randal Pearson
House Leader: Jimm Cox
Volunteer Coordinator:  Bee Brown
Hospitality Coordinator:  Frankie Turner
Lay Ministry Coordinator:  Patty Groot

Although we think of Habitat as simply 'building a house', this mission transcends the application of bricks and mortar.  'House building' is what construction companies do; we are not a construction company.  We are largely lay people from Christ Church United Methodist (and elsewhere in the community) who are trying to express what it means to love your neighbor.

Don't believe me; ask one of the dozens of volunteers listed at the bottom of this page what it means.  Or, ask one of the leaders listed above.  The purpose of this mission is for us to give back to the community by directly improving the community, one house at a time.  Although our focus is on particular house we build each year, we endeavor to improve the community as a whole by showing our neighbors one aspect of God's love for us.  So, stop making excuses why you canNOT and ask one of us how you CAN.....because EVERY ONE of you can help.  Just ask us how.  We will certainly find a role for you to make the most of your gifts---whatever they may be!

QUICK FACTS:

Sign me up!  I want to build.

Christ Church annually sponsors a build that lasts approximately from April-August.
