Marc Schwerin
Director of High School Ministries

Marc grew up an hour and a half from Louisville in Wilmore, Kentucky. He attended Indiana Wesleyan University and graduated from Macon State College. He spent 5 years at Martha Bowman UMC as the Associate Director of Youth Ministry and joined the Christ Church staff in December 2008. He has a beautiful wife named Melissa and an energetic Siberian Husky named Blue. Marc's greatest desire is to see students develop mature and ongoing relationships with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Little Known Fact: Marc loves Root Beer Floats and Sweetarts! He also has webbed toes and is unable to function without coffee in the morning!
Andrea Ragsdale
Director of Middle School Ministries

Andrea moved to Louisville in elementary school, and has loved this city ever since. She attended The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio and graduated with a degree in Religious Studies. Andrea worked as a Family Preservation Specialist at Home of the Innocents before joining the staff of Christ Church in December 2008. She was on Summer Staff at Camp Loucon, and has had a passion for student ministry since she was a student. Andrea has two kittens, C.J. and Ollie (Marc loves them!) and Andrea’s greatest desire is for each student to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ, and become true disciples of the God who loves us so much!
Little known fact: Andrea’s favorite things include sunshine, photography, sushi, and Graeter’s Chocolate Coconut Almond Fudge ice cream. Andrea was also originally cast in the title role of Little Miss Sunshine before the producers decided she was a little too old to play the part.
