Peggie Peterson

Associate Director of Children's Ministries

Peggie Peterson is originally from the Chicago area, where she spent her years growing up, meeting and marrying her high school sweetheart. After frequently moving around the midwest because of job transfers, they moved to Louisville around 1997 when husband Eric accepted an Engineering position with KFC.
They have 3 children, Adam (married and lives in Shelbyville), Katie, and Jake.

Peggie attended the University of Wisconsin extension in Janesville, Wisconsin where she received credentials to teach and direct Early Childhood Programs. She has more that 20 years in the Early Childhood field.

Since 1998, Peggie has been mainly focused on ministry to families and preschool age children. With a passion for teaching young children about the love that Jesus has for each one of them, she also has a deep desire to help families by teaching parenting classes from a Christian perspective and has a great deal of experience in assembling and empowering ministry teams with similar passion! She loves working on a team with the same focus and love that she holds in her heart.
