Michael Bolden

Associate Director Of Music Ministries

Michael is the Associate Director of Music Ministry. He has been with Christ Church since the late 1970s. His present responsibilities include choir vocal warm-ups, directing middle school, high school, and adult choirs in conjunction with Dan Stokes, sectional rehearsals, and singing solos at various services. Michael also teaches choral music and humanities at Butler Traditional High School. He has been with the Jefferson County Public Schools for 20 years.
During the summer months for 11 seasons, Michael has played the role of Uncle Nebo in “Stephen Foster” The Musical.

He is married to Annie Bolden, and they have a daughter, Sarah, and a son, Christopher, who are twins. Michael is originally from Maysville, KY. His hobbies include needlepoint, assembling model cars, and refinishing furniture.
