Jason Mallory

Receptionist and Calendar Coordinator

Jason Mallory first came to Christ Church in 2005 while dating Leslie Allnatt, whose parents are members of Christ Church, and whom he recently married. When he and Leslie have not been singing at churches around Louisville, they have enjoyed singing with the Chancel Choir from time to time, and our own Dan Stokes graciously played at his and Leslie’s wedding in December, 2006.

Originally from Columbia, Missouri, he graduated from USC in Los Angeles. He first came to Louisville in 2004 for his Masters in Music at U of L, and has been singing with Kentucky Opera ever since. When he’s not serving his new friends and congregation as receptionist, he will sing the role of the Count in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro with the U of L Opera Theatre in collaboration with the Academy of Music in Katowice (pronounced cat-oh-veets), Poland. He hopes to juggle his new duties at Christ Church with performances in November and January in Louisville and Katovice, respectively.

As he makes Christ Church his new home, he is looking forward to spending more time enjoying married life, visiting family in Missouri, biking, and adventuring outdoors.
