Byron Graham

Voluntary Web Geek

Serving purely in a voluntary capacity, Byron has taken on the responsibility for maintaining and enhancing this website, as well as administering the email services used by the CCUM staff and photographing many church events.

Born and raised in Louisville, he graduated from Pleasure Ridge Park High School in 1981, and went on to earn a B.S. in Computing Science from the University of Evansville. He worked with mainframe computer systems at LG&E until 1990 when he moved to Jasper, IN, to work for Kimball International. In 1996, Byron returned to the Louisville area when he and Janet (Larson) were married.

Transferring his membership from the church he grew up in, First Christian Church, Byron became a member of Christ Church in 1997. He was fortunate to be laid off from his position with Kimball in the summer of 2000 - providing him the opportunity to become a full-time stay-at-home dad and volunteer. While trying to keep up with two active little 'assistants', he has become very involved with Habitat for Humanity and several small group programs at CCUM. In September of 2001 he began leading the new Explorers Sunday School class and in 2002 completed the Ky. Conference's Servant Leadership Academy.
