Gym News
During Derby week several classes brought their horses to the gym and we had a few horse races. In our gym, everyone is a winner! When the horses weren't running, we were running and squatting with a twist, playing one of our favorite games, "Juice". This week we are learning the value of teamwork by using our parachute. Everyone needs to work together to form a tent or build a mountain and our favorite task is popping popcorn. The parachute gives our arms a pretty good workout too!

As the year winds down, the children choose to repeat their favorite gym activities. So far, gorillas and monkeys are an overwhelming favorite. Freeze dance and musical hoola hoops will surely get requests too.

In the Explorers' room, our routine includes a few runs back and forth, floor exercises, hopping through hoola hoops and dancing to music. The younger children benefit from the consistency in the gym program.

Thanks for letting us workout with your children!
