Video Collection Added to Computerized Catalog

The library’s audiovisual collection is now being added to the computer catalog. At the same time,  the A/V collection is being reorganized according to the Dewey Decimal system. All the videos about Jesus, for example, will now be located next to each other.

Once entered in the computeri,  the A/V collection will be  as easily searchable as the library's book collections. Find videos by title, subject,  keyword, or a combination of these.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remember, you still check out materials in the same tried-and-true way: Put your name and phone number on the paper card in the back of the video case. Drop the card in the check-out box.

After the A/V materials, the youth collection and the children’s collections will be entered into the  database.

The Library recently received donations of several books on leadership and philanthropy, some new children’s books, and some new videos. New books reside for a few weeks on the “New Books” shelf of the blue book cart just inside the door. All the new titles are listed below:
