2000 project house: 1717 Baird Street

10/05/2000:

Interior painting, first coat on walls, both coats on ceiling. Front porch rail completed and stained. Rear cinderblock wall repair completed. And of course, more attempts to remove the infamous stump.

10/07/2000:

Closet shelves installed, back porch railing started, window moldings completed.

10/12/2000:

Gutters hung, moldings & trim painting begun, back porch railing & bench completed.

10/14/2000:

Downspouts placed, baseboard installation begun. 

10/19/2000:

Interior doors hung, baseboard installation nearly finished, vinyl floor underlayment prepared.

10/21/2000:

"The stump" is gone !! Painting continued; molding around exterior doors installed.

10/26/2000:

Painting (walls, baseboards & moldings, etc.); kitchen cabinets installed; bathroom sink cabinet assembled; closet rods installed; baseboards completed; fill dirt spread around yard & the stump hole filled in; concrete pile in back busted out & hauled away.

10/28/2000:

Painting continues.
